The school is conveniently located near the Ganjlik district of Baku. The building was originally constructed in 1987 by the Soviet Builders Association as the logistics center of a concrete and steel works. For this reason, it is built over a bomb shelter and easily passes seismic testing against earthquake hazard. The building and its grounds underwent extensive renovation to meet up-to-date safety code standards and was finalized in 2018. Further enhancements were made to the building through a significant security grant by the United States government that includes a security-screening entry facility and camera surveillance system.
Students enjoy the use of the following facilities: updated classrooms and offices, large cafeteria with industrial kitchen, 400-seat auditorium, padded playroom, Early Childhood center, art room, music room, computer laboratory, two secondary science labs, makerspace, gymnasium, 350-meter outdoor track, two libraries, fitness room, cardio room, and a variety of seating areas for outdoor classes to be held.
